Review the Factors Influence the Successful Design of Mobile Digital Library Interface: Malaysian Perspectives

In the world at your fingertips, mobile devices such as tablets and smart phones become one of the tools needed and play an important role in public life where the trend of mobile usage and mobile ownership has increased in Malaysia. This led to many organizations including librarieshave turned their services into the mobile version because they believe mobile phones could be a potential platform to provide services. However, the implementation of mobile digital library can be a success or fail dependent on the success of mobile interface design. This is because the interfaceplays a major role to enable the user to use these services easily. Therefore, this study aimed to identify factors that can influence the success of mobile digital library interface. There are several factors that influence the success of interface design mobile devices for digital libraryapplications, namely the consumers, culture, mobile and device specifications.
