Entrepreneurship is regarded as one of the key economic development strategies to advance a country’s economic growth and to sustain its competitiveness in facing the increasing trends of globalization. The Ministry of Higher Education (MOE) of Malaysia uses a selected set of‘Key Performance Indicators (KPI)’ to assess the effectiveness of programs and policies focused on promoting entrepreneurial education in Malaysia. However, earlier studies on entrepreneurial education commonly used two indicators to assess the effectiveness of entrepreneurialeducation, i.e., entrepreneurial education service quality and entrepreneurial intention, among students. This study aims to explore the association between the measurements used to assess the effectiveness of the entrepreneurship education programs and policies in Malaysia. Findings of thisstudy note positive relationships between the KPIs and entrepreneurial education service quality and students’ entrepreneurial intentions. Although the associations are not statistically significant, a positive association provides several similarities between the two measurement techniques,which initially seem very different.
