Processing Fast-curing prepreg for low-pressure processes

An epoxy prepreg (HexPly M77HF) developed for a quick three-minute cure cycle using low-pressure processing techniques is to be launched by Hexcel of Stamford, Connecticut, USA. The company says that when used in cello-wrapping, simple presses, bladder moulding and even vacuum-only pressure process, cure cycles can be reduced by up to 90% when using M77HF rather than conventional prepregs.
