Autoneum of Winterthur, Switzerland, has adapted its sound-absorbing automotive underfloor system (Ultra-Silent) for the production of battery undercovers for electric vehicles (EVs). From July 2020, the first commercial battery undercovers will be produced by the company at its plant in Gundernhausen, Germany, for an EV from a German premium carmaker.
