Further US Steel production curtailments

The Minntac plant, part of US Steel's iron ore operations at Mount Iron in Minnesota, will be temporarily idled from 1 June. The action is due to current inventory levels and ongoing adjustment at the company's steel making operations throughout North America, US Steel said, adding it will continue to operate Minntac at reduced capacity to meet customer demand.
