Ex-China zinc mine output in 2017

With half of the year in the past, and with almost all companies having reported their first-half productionnumbers, we now expect ex-China mine output to increase by 4.8% to almost 7,785,000t in 2017. Thisincludes an allowance for disruption in the secondhalf of the year. Before this, we therefore expectincremental changes in mine supply to add a net439,000t. We have compiled a list of all mines thatwill produce at least 5,000t more or less this year,and the sum of these changes total 445,000t.
