Short-term outlook: swelling production cost coupled with stronger demand will be pushing mills' prices forwelded pipes up. Strip quotations will be stable in January, the rise to recommence in February-March. Consequently,producers of welded pipes will have to adjust domestic prices. The seasonal expansion of the home market willmake for higher utilization of welded pipe capacities. In the segment for seamless pipes, production will remainhighly dependent on exports.
