摘要

This study retraced the context of a local 'milieu' surrounding a particular event: the introduction of an innovative agricultural process (in vitro micropropagation of globe artichokes) in the Cerveteri and Ladispoli area (Lazio, Italy). The overall characteristics of the local 'milieu', i.e. scene, players and networks, were identified and the role of social/cultural and psychological relationships, including all the historical stratifications, was analysed, with a view to defining the 'milieu'. It appears that the area analysed behaved as an "innovative milieu", where an innovative capability is enhanced through synergetic and collective learning processes.
