摘要

Cooperative interactions play a very important role in both natural and synthetic supramolecular systems, as exemplified in the allosteric regulation of metabolic enzymes and oxygen binding to haemoglobin. Fundamental questions regarding cooperativity continue to challenge and fascinate researchers, and simple supramolecuLar systems provide an excellent platform for addressing these questions.
