Testing esp. of switches, using host and slave computers - with contact circuit satisfying actual test requirements to adapt host computer for testing different switch types

The method of testing, esp. of switches, involves using a computer controlled device and displaying the test results. An auxiliary computer used as a host computer is adapted for different test requirements using a contact circuit which satisfies the actual test requirements. The test program running in the host computer transfers commands to a slave computer. The test process is conducted, results are obtained and the slave computer transfers test data to the host computer. The host computer evaluates, displays and stores the test data. USE/ADVANTAGE - Can be adapted to test different types of switch at low cost.
