STAMICARBON BAGS TECHNOLOGY CONTRACT FOR NEW UREA PLANT IN INDIA

Talcher Fertilizers has selected Stamicarbon's technology for its new facility in Odisha, India. This project is significant for Stamicarbon as it has re-opened business opportunities for the firm in the Indian market. India - Stamicarbon, the innovation and license company of Maire Tecnimont Group, will license technology for a grassroots urea plant for Talcher Fertilizers in India. The new ammonia and urea complex will be a modern facility which will mark the revival of urea production in the state of Odisha, Angul district, in eastern India. Also for Stamicarbon this project is a strategic milestone, as it marks the re-entry after more than 40 years in the Indian market.
