REPORT ON”IUPAC INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF CROP PROTECTION CHEMISTRY”HELD IN GHENT,BELGIUM

INTRODUCTION: The”14th IUPAC International Congress of Crop Protection Chemistry”was hosted by Ghent University during May 19-24,2019 in Ghent,Belgium at the International Convention Centre.This Centre lies in a tranquil oasis in the middle of Ghent's largest park.The”IUPAC International Congress of Crop Protection Chemistry”is the premium forum for international exchange of scientific information and to discuss emerging issues of global significance in crop protection since 1967.It is held every four years with typical attendance ranging from 1000 to 1500 crop protection specialists.The 2019 Congress was attended by more than 1500 delegates from many parts of the world.Amongst them were world-renowned speakers,experts from the industry,policymakers and many others.The overall congress theme was”Crop Protection: Education of the Future Generation”.
