Echa's Board of Appeal has once again overruled an agency decision in a long-running biocides data-sharing dispute. Belgian biocides producer, Sharda BVBA, lodged its appeal in May 2019, after Echa refused to permit it to refer to studies owned by BASF. Sharda needed the studies for an application to be included on the biocidal products Regulation’s (BPR's) Article 95 list of approved substances and suppliers.
