NGOs petition US EPA to force Chemours to study effects of 54 PFASs

Six advocacy groups have asked the US EPA to order chemical giant Chemours to pay for studies on the health and environmental effects of 54 types of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) that they say are produced by the chemical company at its Fayetteville, North Carolina facility.
