CEPCI SOUGHT REVIVAL PACKAGE FOR AILING CASHEW INDUSTRY

As the time limit permitted to the cashew sector on proceeding further and initiating coercive actions by the banks against accounts declared as NPAexpires on 31 s May 2018, the Cashew Export Promotion Council of India (CEPCI) has called for an extension of the time till December 2018, since various measure proposed for rehabilitation of the cashew industry is at various stages of consideration and hoping to implement the revival package submitted to the central and state governments examining the proposals.
