A CAM tooled future for the sanitaryware industry

From total automation of the casting process to the new frontiers of mould and case mould development,the latest innovations in sanitaryware production were explored at Go fast.Go future,the title of the 12th Sacmi meeting on technological trends in the sanitaryware sector held in Imola on 24 September.The event was attended by more than 130 customers from 40 countries and began with a guided tour of the new pilot plant in the SACMI Sanitaryware Lab,which in 2018 was doubled in size to accommodate a new and more extensive array of machinery.Visitors had the opportunity to watch a series of casting demonstrations ranging from one-piece to complex-shaped WCs,which highlighted the unparalleled performance of the machinery in terms of automation,product quality and energy efficiency.
