In this chapter we will examine how to draw a sport utility vehicle or SUV. This exercise should serve as a good occasion to probe once again into the appeal of this category of vehicle. We will start however by giving our miscellaneous impressions of the New York motor show. Such Japanese firms as Toyota, Honda and Nissan showed good spirit at this year's show and Audi introduced its new TT, making the event all the more lively. One reason these companies were in good spirits was that their sales are doing well despite the extraordinary situation in North America where gasoline prices have surpassed the USD 3 per gallon mark. Another is that their designs are always of high quality and they possess advanced production technologies.
