MOULDING SYSTEMS FOCUSED ON PCR PET AND LIGHTWEIGHT PREFORMS AND CLOSURES

As part of a declared aim to improve the sustainability of beverage packaging Husky has modified its HyPET bottle preform moulding machine to run with recycled PET with no detriment to output.Husky has been examining the complete life cycle of beverage packaging, including bottle and closure, to determine ways to improve the manufacturing process to make it more sustainable. It is working with the Allied Development Corporation, a third party consulting and publications company, to conduct life cycle analysis studies.
