Germany's BASF expands MDI capacity at Antwerp facility

LONDON (ICIS)--BASF has increased the capacity of its methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) at the company's Verbund facility at Antwerp, Belgium, the German chemicals major announced on Monday. The facility is now capable of producing 650,000 metric tons of MDI per year having previously had a capacity of 560,000 metric tons.
