LONDON (ICIS)--European polyvinyl chloride (PVC) export demand has weakened as a result of the politically uncertain situation in Turkey, although spot prices have remained in the same range, according to market sources on Friday. Demand in Turkey has weakened as a result of increased geopolitical tension in the market and in northern Iraq, a major export market, as well as the expected closure of the border between the two countries. The Turkish lira has also fluctuated against the dollar in October.
