Malaysia PE producer rolls over Oct offers for Nov, drops LDPE prices

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--A major Malaysian domestic producer of polyethylene (PE) announced most of its PE offers at rolled-over prices, only dropping LDPE film grade prices, for Novemberdelivery cargoes, market sources said on Tuesday. A source with knowledge of the matter said that LDPE film prices were dropped by around ringgit (M$) 150/tonne as compared to offers for October to match another producer's previous offers.
