Jordan’s Arab Potash, Yara dissolve potassium nitrate MoU

LONDON (ICIS)--Arab Potash Company (APC) and Norwegian fertilizers major Yara have ended all discussions under their memorandum of understanding (MOU) to explore joint production of potassium nitrate, the Jordanian fertilizers major said late on Thursday. The two companies signed the MoU in January to evaluate the possibility of doubling production capacities for potassium nitrate at Kemapco, an APC subsidiary, to around 260,000 tonnes/year.
