Europe June SBR contracts rise significantly on steep feedstock hikes

LONDON (ICIS)--European June styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) contract prices rose steeply this month on upstream gains. The European butadiene (BD) contract reference price for June was agreed at European dollar 1,150/tonne, up by European dollar 140/tonne from May. The June styrene contract price emerged at a double-digit increase, and both of these market drivers placed significant pressure on SBR prices this month.
