Asian ACN racing up on supply constraints, strong China market

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Asia’s spot prices for acrylonitrile (ACN) posted strong gains, alongside spikes in domestic Chinese prices, and could well stay supported at high levels by tight supply. In the week ended 20 April, average ACN prices closed at $1,995/tonne CFR (cost & freight) China, up nearly 3% from the previous week, according to ICIS data.
