Norway's Odfjell finalises Rotterdam tank terminal sale to Koole

LONDON (ICIS)--Odfjell has completed the sale of its Odfjell Terminals Rotterdam subsidiary to Koole Terminals, generating $100m in cash proceeds, the Norway-headquartered shipping group said on Thursday. The deal, announced in July this year, is expected to cut Odfjell’s net debt, but the company recorded $58m of impairments and $43m in tax losses from the Rotterdam terminal sale in its second-quarter results.
