Germany’s K+S restarts two potash plants, warns of hit to Q3 earnings

LONDON (ICIS)--German muriate of potash (MOP) major K+S has resumed potash fertilizer production at two plants on the river Werra in Germany, after more than a month of disruption caused by low water levels. In an announcement on Friday, K+S says MOP production at its Wintershall and Hattorf plants is ramping up, with full-capacity production expected by 1 October.
