LONDON (ICIS)--The US tariffs imposed on some EU products breach World Trade Organization (WTO) rules and could create a “major trade conflict” between the two areas, the German chemical trade group VCI said on Friday. The US announced on Thursday it would not extend a waver on EU steel and aluminium, as well as on Canadian and Mexican product, resulting in tariffs of 25% for steel and 10% on aluminium.
