SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Northeast Asia’s spot ethylene prices extended the previous week’s gains on continued pre-holiday buying in China. Transactions ranged from the mid-$900s/tonne to the mid-$1,000s/tonne CFR (cost & freight) NE (northeast) Asia for February- and first-half March-arrival cargoes, up from the weekly assessment at $930/tonne CFR NE Asia on 18 January, ICIS data showed.
