Asia ABS stays soft amid Labour Holidays; mixed demand outlook

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--While some sellers in the Asia acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) market anticipate a pickup in business after the Labour Day holidays, others were less sanguine and expect buying interest to remain poor in May. The market remained soft amid the holidays across the region this week. Trade in Asia started to taper off last week as buyers postponed commitments to after the holidays.
