HOUSTON (ICIS)--US ethylene dichloride (EDC) production fell during the first quarter, according to data from the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM), as US chlor-vinyls producers rationalised production rates and used existing EDC internally to make derivative polyvinyl chloride (PVC), according to industry figures.
