Mexico PVC export prices decline on sluggish demand, global trend

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Mexican May polyvinyl chloride (PVC) prices decline on sluggish local demand and downward global trends. May PVC declines of as much as 1 cent/lb ($22/tonne) are emerging in the domestic market, resulting in average pipe grade resin prices of $860/tonne DEL (delivered), while export resin prices have already shed some $15/tonne in May in line with international markets decline of April and May.
