HOUSTON (ICIS)--As winter advances across larger swathes of the farming regions, and prospects for crop yields diminish further as harvest continues to languish, the opportunity for final fertilizer inputs are fading fast. Having faced a year full of weather disruptions, tariff uncertainty and wavering prices, as well as oversupply of nutrients and lower consumption due to fewer planted acres, farmers and fertilizer participants are bracing for an equal tough end to this season.
