BASF subsidiary to sell stationary batteries for renewable energy use

LONDON (ICIS)--BASF has concluded a sales partnership agreement with a Japanese manufacturer to sell megawatt-class batteries, it said on Tuesday. The German chemical producer partnered with Japanese ceramics manufacturer NGK Insulators Ltd to sell the stationary sodium-sulphur based batteries.
