NYSE suspends trading of Braskem shares after firm misses filing deadline

HOUSTON (ICIS)--The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has suspended trading of Braskem's US-listed shares because the company will miss a deadline to file its 2017 annual report, the Brazilian polyolefins producer said on Monday. Braskem has until 16 May to file the annual report, which is known as a Form 20-F. Companies file such reports with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Braskem cannot file its 2018 annual report until it files its 2017 report.
