Asia toluene bids go above $700/tonne amid higher Chinese prices

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Asia’s spot toluene bids went above $700/tonne FOB (free on board) Korea on Monday on the back of gains in both domestic Chinese prices and upstream crude prices, market sources said. Crude oil prices surged by more than $2/bbl in early Asian trade on Monday after Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and non-OPEC producers over the weekend agreed to reduce crude oil output by 558,000 bbl/day.
