China Q2 GDP grows 6.7% year on year, up 1.8% on quarter

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's economy posted a 6.7% year-on-year growth in the second quarter, the same rate of expansion recorded in the previous quarter and in line with its official full-year target, the country's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said on Friday. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, the country's GDP expanded by 1.8% in the April-June period, according to the NBS.
