US Trinseo Q2 income jumps on fewer charges

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US-based styrenics producer Trinseo reported on Monday a Q2 net income of $95.80m, up sharply from $756,000 from the same time last year because of fewer one-time charges. For Q2 2015, Trinseo reported a charge of $95.2m for paying off long-term debt. The company did not report such a charge for Q2 2016.
