GAIL to soon achieve on-spec production at LLDPE/HDPE swing unit

Indian polyethylene (PE) producer GAIL (India) Ltd is on track to achieve on-spec production at its HDPE/LLDPE swing plant in late September, a company source said on late on Thursday. The plant with a nameplate capacity of 400,000 tonnes/year and located in Pata, Uttar Pradesh is presently being operated at 40-60% rate, the source said.
