EU ammonia imports slip slightly in March - Eurostat

LONDON (ICIS)--EU ammonia imports in March 2016 were down slightly year on year at 186,673 tonnes from 199,392 tonnes in the year-ago period, figures released by statistics agency Eurostat revealed on Wednesday. On a monthly basis, the figure was just ahead of the 185,027 tonnes that arrived in the trade bloc in February. The Brussels-based agency also revealed EU ammonia exports for March jumped more than six- fold year on year to 27,389 tonnes from 4,258 tonnes in the same month of 2015.
