SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s Showa Denko plans to reach in early May full capacity operations at its 175,000 tonne/year vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) plant in Oita, after production resumed as scheduled on 27 March, according to a company official on Friday. The producer is currently in the process of gradually increasing the operating rates at the plant, which was taken offline on 19 February for overhaul, the official added.
