SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan's Nan Ya Plastics will shut from mid-August its 150,000 tonne/year bisphenol A plant located in Ningbo, China, ahead of the G20 summit, a source familiar with its operations said on Thursday. The mandated plant shutdown is in line with environmental measures put in place by the government to ensure air quality standards are met during the G20 summit, which will be held in Hangzhou City, China, on 4-5 September, according to the source.
