摘要

A spotting method, which called Two-dimensional Continuous Dynamic Programming, has been pro-posed by authors. The proposed one is only applicable to a rectangle image as the reference image. A rectangle framework usually includes both an object image and its background image. The performance of previous method becomes low for difference backgrounds for recognizing the object in the reference image. In this paper an extend algorithm is proposed in order to be applicable to both convex and/or concave reference images. Some experimental results show pixel-wise correspondence between a reference image and a spotted image from an input image.
