摘要

The effect of two different constructions of cooling systems in sliding crystallizer, parameters of continuous casting and water removal from ingot surface on crack propagation, structure and mechanical properties of the ingots 300 X 1100 mm in cross section from 7075 alloy is studied. The factors having the effect on forming the hot and cold cracks in ingots and porosity in peripheral and central areas are revealed. The results of investigation of zonal liquation of the alloying elements, structure and mechanical properties of the ingots and plates made from these ingots are presented.
