摘要

Glycine was synthesized with high yield(>98%) from ammonia and monochloroacetic acid in the presence of hexamethylenetetramine in an aqueous solution. Hexamethylenetetramine accelerates the reactio between monochloroacetic acid and ammonia,the undesirable side-reactions,such as formation of iminodiacetic acid are suppredded,thus glycine can be obtained with high yield.On the basis of detailed kinetic investigations the apparent rate constants and the reaction mechanism are also described.
