Utah To Auction 5,700 Acres In Emery, Grand Counties

The Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration (SITLA) will be auctioning 10 leasing units covering 5,737.36 net mineral acres in Emery and Grand counties this month. Money raised through the management and leasing of this acreage is used to fund Utah public education, said EnergyNet, who is assisting with the auction. Bidding for the first tract starts at 2 p.m. CST on Feb. 17. Subsequent tracts open for bidding in five-minute intervals.
