This research explores the non-linear and automatic balancing behaviors of passive automatic balancer device(ABD) system for planar eccentric rotor longitudinally off-centered from the mass center of flexible foundation structure that can move horizontally, vertically as well as in torsional. Although the behaviors of ABD have been well understood for the ideally configured rotor systems on symmetric bearings or supports, the investigation about the responses of such special arrangement for ABD introduced here has been limited or not been fully considered. Moreover, since the off-centered configured rotary eccentric rotors on a flexible base, whether intentionally or otherwise, are commonly found in many practical industrial machine systems and power transmission applications, further application of ABD into such setting needs to be studied to provide promising vibration isolation solutions. Therefore, analytical solutions for the synchronous stable balancing response and the non-synchronous limit-cycle of the proposed system are assumed via a fixed equilibrium and a balancing like harmonics approach. Furthermore, the stability about those responses is determined via a perturbation and Floquet analysis and, the undesirable coexistence of the stable balanced synchronous and unstable supercritical non-synchronous limit-cycle for the system parameters and operating speeds has been thoroughly explored. It is found that, due to asymmetric and rotational behavior of foundation support together with off-centered arrangement of rotor, more complicate supercritical bifurcations are exhibited.
