Prices for Chinese coated steel (August-September rolling) plunged to Ukrainian buyers by early July. Suppliers wereactively providing discounts amid lower domestic quotes and the yuan depreciation. As a result, the situation worsenedin the Ukrainian market as consumers are cutting purchases in anticipation of a price drop.
