Vietnam’s Pomina Steel accused of environmental violations

Vietnam’s authorities accused local longs producer Pomina Steel Joint Stock Company of numerous environmentalviolations committed by its two subsidiaries over the last two years. In particular, the company is obliged to pay a finedue to the usage of substandard imported scrap for steel production.
