Vietnam slaps fnal AD on colour coated steel from China and South Korea

Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade announced fnal antidumping duty (AD) on colour coated steel imports from China and South Korea.On October 24, Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) announced its decision to apply fnal AD on colour coated steel originated from China and South Korea, as “the levels of dumping put considerable pressure on the domestic steel industry during the investigation period, especially in the last seven months of 2018 to date,” the body explained. The duties for Chinese exporters are applicable within the range of 2.53% to 34.27%, while duties for the PPGI imported from South Korea were set at 4.71% to 19.25%. The AD will be valid for fve years starting from October 24.
