Voestapine opposes split of German-Austrian common power market

Voestalpine, Energy Exchange Austria (EXAA) and 2 other local industrial companies started anti-competition proceedingsagainst German grid operator Tennet, demanding “to stop the abuse of a dominant position” after the splitof German-Austrian power price zone in October 1, 2018. The appellants want to restore the common power marketbetween the two countries which was beneficial for Austrian industrialists.
